FILMING DAY 2 - Outside of Main House

Whilst having the majority of the clips, being within the house, I now I only needed clips of him exploring far from the house and also within the neighbourhood close to him. I felt like I got all the scenes that I need and managed to film everything that I planned to today.
It was an extremely successful day. I managed to acquire a local house to film him gathering loot for himself and also getting my hands on a camping stove which is great as I did not think I was going to find one of those. Furthermore, I was also able to film in the abandoned place being Atherfield Bay Holiday Camp. It was perfect to film in as it looks very run down, giving the effect that the nuclear attack as done a lot of carnage. Having an abandoned area near myself was very helpful and will increase my production value to my short film.

FILMING DAY 1 - Main House

Today I filmed the majority of the scenes within the house, of the characters home. This was a lot of the short film as most of it is based within the house. Through the shots I filmed today we got a sense of the characters life and the audience will feel closer knowing him more. From my research, the shots and techniques I used were perfect for the scenes I did. I did various extreme close ups of his face to really emphasise his mood and to show his emotion due to the attack, which really expresses his emotions. Moreover, I filmed many shots, angles and movements which I hope fits well together as filming more angles and shot types should make the short film more interesting to watch visually.
It was a very successful filming day that I felt like I got all the necessary shots and even more that I expected.
